Laura Kaufmann is an operations executive and global brand strategist with experience developing major CPG, lifestyle, and media brands. Named a 40-under-40 Industry Influencer, she has proven success growing revenue for multiple lines of businesses across a collection of global powerhouse brands and demonstrates excellence in building emotionally compelling brand partnerships that create new revenue streams.
As COO of content house Einhorn's Epic Productions, she oversaw business operations, content marketing strategy, e-commerce and financial services for the company's slate of inclusive podcasts, animation, graphic novel, and web3 projects that center strong female leads in epic heroic franchises.
Prior to that, Kaufmann served as Senior Director of Licensing for CAA-GBG Brand Management. She was responsible for running the global licensed programs for The Hershey Company, Jelly Belly and Kodak. Additionally, she drove strategy and new business development for clients such as DwellStudio, Bob Marley, Anheuser-Busch, The Cheesecake Factory and Habitat for Humanity.
At American Greetings Properties, she achieved significant licensing growth for such brands as Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake. Her partnership with prolific American fashion designer Jeremy Scott relaunched the Madballs brand with a haute couture apparel collection, along with accessory collaborations with Adidas and Longchamp.
Previously, Laura oversaw experiential licensing categories and related merchandising for Nickelodeon, spanning over 15 regions across the globe. Kaufmann began her career in the general management of Broadway, Off Broadway and National Touring productions.
Her philanthropic leadership includes her service as a Mentor and Citizen's Roundtable member of ACP, as a Team Leader for NY Cares, and as an Ambassador and Engagement Council Member at Interlochen Center for the Arts, where she is a proud alumnus. She also donates her time with God's Love We Deliver, The Good Dog Foundation, and Taproot. Previously, she has served as Chief Strategy Officer for Children's Media Association, Board Member of Wings WorldQuest, and Events Chair of Operation Fairy Dust. Laura holds a BA from New York University.
